Alana is a native English speaker with over 9 years of experience in ESL teaching, a B.A. majoring in TESOL, and a TEFL certification. During these courses, Alana learned to use applied neuroscience and over 40 teaching methods to help students learn more effectively, and have fun at the same time!

Alana is passionate about traveling, linguistics, reading, and exploring. She has lived in the USA, China, and Thailand where she taught students of all age groups and cultures. She is proficient in Mandarin Chinese and is currently learning German.
